Obviously, you know what I am talking about.
/Today I listened to an interview with Miranda July about her book of short stories, No one belongs here more than you. I was spell bound by her philosophy and her writing. Her website is titled: Obviously, you know what I am talking about. Originally, the title gave her confidence and made her feel comfortable with her ideas. Then, she noted, as she performed or spoke to audiences that hundreds of heads were nodding in agreement with her stories. Her words were indeed, obvious... familiar and captivating.
Now that's how I feel too! Todd and I have been writing Journal pages for months and months. We have had a lot of fun with them and yet, as far as we know, no one reads them. No one comments. Obviously, I thought today, it is because what we are saying is so obvious! Now, I picture lots of people reading our Journal pages and nodding their heads, agreeing and letting their minds wander off to a similar thought or story of their own.
I heartily recommend that you listen to the interview. I think she speaks for many of us. And for those familiar with the MG Taylor, ASE, and Tomorrow Makers processes, be sure after you go to the link, to then click here. Be prepared to smile! Obviously, you will know why I suggested the link...
